2. Verify that all of the modules and cards that you installed are visible in the graphical
representation of your Wave Server at the left of the window. You can do the following in
Chassis View:
Position the cursor on a module or card on the left side of the window to display an
expanded version of it, along with statistics for that module or card, on the right side
of the window.
Click a module or card on the left side of the window to open the configuration
applet for that card or module.
•Click
Periodic polling to automatically update the status LEDs periodically. Set the
update interval (in seconds), and then click
Apply.
•Click
Refresh on demand to update the status LEDs whenever you click Refresh
Now

•Click
System Info to display advanced information about the Wave Server.
3. If a module or card is not displayed as expected in Chassis View, check the physical
status LEDs on the Wave Server to make sure they are green (on and operational).
If the physical LEDs are off (nonoperational):
a. Shut down and power off the Wave Server according to the instructions on
page 7-10.
b. Reseat the component in question. For more information, see page 3-15 or
page 4-21 (depending on your Wave Server model).
c. Restart the Wave Server according to the instructions on page 7-11, and run
the Chassis View applet again.
Chassis View should now show the component in question as present and functioning
normally. If the component is still not displayed in Chassis View, contact your Vertical
support representative.
4. Click
Done to return to the Global Administrator Management Console.
