System shutdown sequence indicators
During a power (red) button shutdown, you will observe the following LED setting sequence.
Error condition indicators
If an error occurs on your system, you will observe the following Card Status LED setting:
The associated System Status LED indicators describe the specific error that occurred. See
“Error Conditions” in Appendix E in the Wave Server Hardware Reference Guide for details.

If the shutdown type is Power Off (such as a power off initiated by pressing the red Power Off button on the front panel of
the ISC1
/ISC2 for 4 seconds), the system power will be turned off when the shutdown is complete. Note that older Wave
IP 2500s (with backplane rev 0x34) do not have the capability to turn off the power programmatically. On these systems,
the following LED setting indicates that the system can now be powered off manually:
Shutdown complete;
power off was
unsuccessful.
Green Red Red Red off off
If the shutdown type is Reboot, the system will restart. See “Normal boot sequence indicators” on page C-3.
