9. The PuTTY session provides a Linux “bash” prompt session. Type the following
command at the # prompt to flash the new ISC1/ISC2 boot loader:
update_redboot
Enter the VAM’s IP address when you are prompted to do so. Flashing of the ISC1/ISC2
boot loader will take a few seconds.
You will see a series of messages while flashing is in progress. Flashing is complete when
the Writing data” and “Verifying data” messages are displayed:
10. Type the following command at the # prompt to view the version of the ISC1/ISC2 boot
loader now installed:
rsc4versions
Note: Use this command if your Vertical technical support representative ever asks you
to verify the ISC1/ISC2 boot loader version installed on your Wave Server.
The new ISC1/ISC2 boot loader will take effect the next time that the Wave Server is restarted—
you do not need to restart the Wave Server immediately.
