Connecting to the Wave ISM from the
administrator PC

Obtaining all required HotFixes
Note the following important information:
• Although you will not apply HotFixes until the next chapter, contact your Vertical
representative at this point to obtain any required HotFixes and other critical information.
Once you have obtained the HotFix CAB files from your Vertical representative, place
them on the hard drive of the administrator PC that you will use to administer the Wave
ISM.
• Be sure to move the HotFix CAB files to the administrator PC before performing the
steps in “Configuring the administrator PC” on page 5-3, where you will change the IP
address of the administrator PC. Once you change the IP address of the administrator PC,
that PC will be dedicated to communicating with the Wave ISM and you will no longer
be able to access your network or go out on the Internet from it to retrieve the HotFix
CAB files.
