Using the Welcome prompt to inform callers that their calls may be recorded
Wave provides a professionally-recorded prompt,
MayBeMonitored.wav
, that you can import as
a Welcome prompt. It says, “Your call may be monitored or recorded.” By default the prompt
is in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Televantage Server\vfiles\EN00\MayBeMonitored.wav
If you decide to use this prompt, you do not need to record a Welcome prompt as described
above.
Creating voicemail greetings for a queue
You can create and store as many different voicemail greetings as you want, and you can easily
change the active greeting, which is the one played to callers who reach the queue’s voicemail.
The greetings appear on the Audio \ Greetings tab in the Queue dialog. The active greeting
appears in bold.
