Creating a Welcome prompt for a queue
Callers hear the Welcome prompt once when they reach the queue. It might say, “Thank you for
calling Julep technical support. Please hold. The next available agent will be with you shortly.”
To create a Welcome prompt for a queue
1 Click the Audio \ Welcome Prompt tab in the Queue dialog.
2 Type the text of the prompt or a description of it.
3 Record the Welcome prompt using the audio controls. See “Using the audio controls” on
page 1-5 for instructions.

Click OK to save the queue as you have defined it so far or go to the next section, “Creating
voicemail greetings for a queue.”
