Receiving instructions:

After delivery, remove the packaging from the product. Inspect the product closely to determine whether

it sustained damage during transport. If damage is discovered, record a complete description of it on the

bill of lading. If the product is undamaged, discard the packaging.

NOTE:

The end-user is solely responsible for confirming that product design, installation, use, and maintenance

comply with laws, regulations, codes, and mandatory standards applied where the product is used.

Rev. 9/7/2017 MP, MANUAL Labeling diagram: Components should always be labeled as shown in the diagrams below. Replace labels that are missing, damaged, or faded. All labels must be easily readable. A&B A, B, & C A: Label 287 B: Label 840 A, B, & C C: Label 842 A Assembly: Because MP-series platforms are designed to be customizable to each application, there is no standard kit of components. Instead, end users select the components necessary to fulfill their needs.

Rev. 9/7/2017 MP, MANUAL Platform-to-Platform connection without legs or handrails: The following diagrams show how to fasten platforms together without handrails and without leg supports. Spacers go between the angle stiffeners and the side of the platforms (see “Detail view”). First insert he head bolts through the outer pairs of bolts holes. Each bolt will extend through an angle stiffener, a spacer, an (outer) bolt hole in the platform, and then through another spacer and angle stiffener.

Rev. 9/7/2017 MP, MANUAL Platform-to-Platform with Legs: MP systems having platforms supported by legs but lacking handrails should be fastened as shown in the diagrams (below). [NOTE: Leg components MP-L-4, MP-L-5, and MP-L-6 require bracing. First, fasten leg braces together through center holes (circled in diagram); then attach braces to legs.

Rev. 9/7/2017 MP, MANUAL Installation: Only install the platform system on concrete or other improved surface capable of supporting the weight of the system plus a full capacity load. Anchor the platform system to the ground/floor after it is assembled. Each leg 5 includes a bolt hole through its foot for /8” anchor bolts (diameter). Additionally, each foot of a stairway leg has 2 3 holes for /8” anchor bolts. The necessary length of anchoring hardware should be determined by your building engineer.

Our warranty obligation is to provide a replacement for a defective original part if the part is covered by the warranty, after we receive a proper request from the warrantee (you) for warranty service. Who may request service? Only a warrantee may request service.
