IMPORTANT NOTES
PLEASE READ BEFORE USE AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Set Up
1. Remove storage bottle from inside the distiller.
2. Fill the tank with water using the container supplied (diagram 2), do not overfill the distiller
drum. Using hot water will reduce distilling time but not boiling water from the kettle as this
could damage the container
3. Place top cover onto machine body making sure the silicone seal is tightly in place around
the entire rim. This must be airtight. The machine must be on a stable surface. Connect the
power cord from the top cover into the machine body.
4. Set up storage bottle as per diagram 1. Connect power cord to power outlet.
5. Press start, (BLACK BUTTON).The red on indicator will illuminate and the fan will come on
automatically, the tank will begin to heat, thus starting the distilling process.
6. Water will begin to drip into the storage bottle after approximately 30 minutes. It will take
approximately 4 hours to distil 4 litres of water. The unit will automatically shut down when
the cycle has finished. PLEASE NOTE: The unit must be allowed to cool down before starting
another cycle.
7. Do not use the first bottle of distilled water as it may contain impurities from the
manufacturing process.
8. The distiller can be turned off at any point using the off switch (RED BUTTON).
PLEASE NOTE:
Use unit in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Keep the body of the unit dry only fill with water using a jug.
The start button will begin the distilling cycle and will automatically turn off when the cycle
has finished. To stop the unit mid-cycle press the off switch (RED BUTTON).
Do not immerse any part of the unit in water.
Do not remove the cover while the unit is mid-cycle. Wait until the unit has cooled down
before removing top.
CLEANING
Rinse and wipe out tank everyday using a damp cloth or kitchen roll.
Calcification and scale will build up on the bottom of the tank and should be removed every two weeks.
Use the following instructions.
1. Pour in enough hot water to cover the scale in tank
2. Pour 1-4 teaspoons of supplied cleaning crystals into tank depending on
the amount of scale
3. Leave the top lid off the unit and start up by pressing the BLACK button.
4. Let cycle run for 30 minutes, pour out water and wash the inside of tank
with clean water.
5. If the residue is not completely removed repeat the process.
FILTER
Inside the stainless steel filter is an activated charcoal sachet. Each sachet will last approximately 3
months. To change the sachet remove the steel filter from the head unit (this can be done by using a
hard ‘snap’ action) Diagram 4. Replace with a new sachet and replace steel filter to machine.
