Chapter 3
Video Off Option
Select whether or not to turn off the screen when system enters power
saving mode, ACPI OS such as Windows XP will override this option.
Setting Description
Always On Screen is always on even when system enters power saving
mode
Suspend -> Off Screen is turned off when system enters power saving mode
Video Off Method
Settings:[Blank Screen, V/H SYNC+Blank, DPMS Support]
MODEM Use IRQ
Settings: [NA, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11]
Soft-Off by PWRBTN
Setting Description
Delay 4 Sec System is turned off if power button is pressed for more than
four seconds
Instant-Off Power button functions as a normal power-on/-off button
Run VGABIOS if S3 Resume
Select whether to run VGA BIOS if resuming from S3 state. This is only
necessary for older VGA drivers.
Settings: [Auto, Yes, No]
AC Loss Auto restart
The field defines how the system will respond after an AC power loss during
system operation.
Setting Description
Off Keeps the system in an off state until the power button is
pressed
On Restarts the system when the power is back
