USE • When using the Fruiti Freeze for the first time, be sure that all packing material has been removed, including any material that may be inside the chute. Also, wash the plunger, chute, auger, nozzle and chute assembly cover in warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly. • Begin with fruit that has been completely frozen. Allow to thaw slightly. Thaw time depends on type and size of fruit. Berries should thaw for around five minutes, while larger fruit such as peaches may need to thaw 15-20 minutes.
• There are three ways you can make a frozen treat with multiple types of fruit: 1. Add the fruit one type at a time. The flavors and colors will be separated, creating a rainbow effect. 2. Add the different types of fruit alternately. There will still be some color separation, but the flavors will be blended better. 3. O nce you’re finished grinding the fruit, stir together with a spoon. There’s no color separation, but the flavors will be perfectly blended.
MAINTENANCE • Unplug the Fruiti Freeze before cleaning and disassembling. • Before and after each use, wipe the unit off with a damp (not dripping), non-abrasive cloth. When finished, dry thoroughly. • Remove chute assembly cover, disassemble the chute assembly, and remove the tray. • Wash all parts (excluding the base and power cord) by hand in warm water with a non-abrasive soap and a nonabrasive cloth or sponge.
