Use this manual in conjunction with the following manuals:
–The Ethernet, IP and TCP/UDP, Testing Manual provides
detailed instructions for testing on each of the listed
networks. It also explains how to run key scripts and
describes each of the available test results.
–The PDH, SONET, SDH and Next Gen Testing Manual
provides detailed instructions for testing on each of the
listed networks.
Help. The topics addressed in the testing manuals are
also available on the T-BERD MTS 5800 in an HTML
format.

This manual uses conventions and symbols, as described in
the following tables.
