Description Example
A plus sign + indicates simultaneous
keystrokes.
Press Ctrl+s
A comma indicates consecutive key
strokes.
Press Alt+f,s
A slanted bracket indicates choosing a
submenu from menu.
On the menu bar, click

This symbol represents a general hazard.
This symbol represents hazardous voltages.
This symbol represents a risk of explosion.
This symbol represents a Note indicating related information or
tip.
This symbol, located on the equipment, battery, or its pack-
aging indicates that the equipment or battery must not be
disposed of in a land-fill site or as municipal waste, and
should be disposed of according to your national regula-
tions.
