Powering the instrument

Powering the instrument
Power is supplied to the instrument by the battery or the AC
power adapter supplied with the instrument when it was
shipped to you.
Verifying that
you have the
correct adapter
Figure 4 shows the label provided on the adapter that ships
with the T-BERD ⁄ MTS 5800.
Using the
adapter
To supply power using the adapter
1 Verify that the adapter is the one that shipped with your
instrument (see “Verifying that you have the correct
adapter”).
2 Plug the adapter into the power supply jack on the top
panel.
3 Plug the opposite end of the adapter into the power
mains.
Power is supplied using the adapter.
