5 Fire-fighting measures
• Suitable extinguishing agents:
Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding
conditions.

• Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of
combustion or resulting gases:
As a layer most dust by the action of a flame will melt while
self supporting spread of burning occurs with smoky flames.
Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard.

In case of fire do not breathe fumes.
Appropriate breathing apparatus may be required.

Avoid formation of dust.
Ensure adequate ventilation

Pick-up and arrange disposal without creating dust.
Disposal at an appropriate repository.
• Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Contain and collect spillage with a vacuum cleaner or by wet
brushing and place in container for disposal according to local
regulations. (See section 13).
Do not use a dry brush as dust clouds can be created.
