OWNERS MANUAL Model: DELTABOX BASS GENERATOR Congratulations on purchasing your VIBE DeltaBox bass Generator Please read this manual in order to fully understand how to get the best results from your DeltaBox Please ensure that all advice on how to look after your bass generator is followed. Thank you for buying VIBE, we hope you enjoy listening to your product as much as we enjoyed creating it.
Front panel 1. AUX input Low level input that can be connected to IPOD / MP3 player / DVD player / games console via the supplied 3.5mm stereo jackplug lead. 2. SUB level control This control sets the subwoofer level for the main input. 3. Main / AUX input switch This switch switches between main and AUX input. 4. Crossover frequency control This control is used to set the low pass crossover point for the output. The frequency can be adjusted from 40Hz to 400Hz. 5.
Jumper settings The Deltabox Bass Generator is equipped with 2 internal jumpers. These jumpers set the operation of the tone generator to either 2 second operation or constant operation for the panel button and the remote control. In the factory preset mode when either the remote control or panel button for the tone generator is pressed the chosen tone will play through the subwoofer for 2 seconds before switching off and returning to normal music.

Set up guide Main input / Aux input Set the SUB LEVEL control to the minimum setting. Set the CROSSOVER control to the desired frequency. This will vary depending on the type of subwoofer system that have. As a rough guide if you prefer deep bass set the frequency between 40Hz – 60Hz, and 80Hz – 120Hz for punchy bass. Set the volume level of the source to around 3/4 or just below the point of the speakers beginning to distort.
Troubleshooting Unit will not switch on Check that there is +12 volts present on the +12 volt and remote in terminal and that the ground terminal is connected to a good chassis ground Check the fuse on the +12 volt wire has not blown No Sound Check that the correct input (Main or AUX) is selected. If the Bass amplifier is connected to the REMOTE TURN ON OUTPUT ensure that the REMOTE TURN ON switch is set to “ON” Check that the jumpers are correctly set.
