V.7ViconNet Virtual Matrix Control

The ViconNet 5.0 introduces a new option for system operation. This is in response to a desire among some users of digital video

systems to control the video stream in a traditional “matrix–like” manner. These users might have or would like to have an analogue

monitor array for displaying video. ViconNet Virtual Matrix Controller (VMC) offers the ability to send video to any analogue monitor

(BNC, S-Video, VGA) that is connected to the network using the new KRX-3 Video Decoder. The Virtual Matrix Controller is fully

compatible with all other ViconNet 5.0 devices, so it can be either added on to an existing system (upgraded to V5) or used for

standalone design.
