logging in to VOS, contact Vicon Support, as described in Technical
Support on page C-1.
To log in to VOS:
1. From a Web browser, enter the URL for VOS:
http://support.vicon.com/online_Support.html
2. Enter your VOS Username and Password and then click Login.
Tabs for Home, Find Answer, Log a Case, View Cases, and
Logout are displayed along the top of the page. Your logged in
information is displayed on the right side of the page beneath
these tabs.
Lists of the Top Answers and any Open Cases you have raised
are displayed on the Home page.
3. When you are ready to exit VOS, click the Logout tab.
Locating Topics in VOS
You can locate existing topics in VOS, such as answers to frequently
asked questions in the Find Answer tab.
To locate topics in VOS:
1. Log in to VOS, as described in Logging in to VOS on page G-2.
2. Click the Find Answer tab.
3. In the Search for fields under the Find Answer section, type in
the search text, select a search category from the drop-down list,
and click Find Answer.
VOS searches its the selected area of its knowledge base for the
specified text and returns a list of matching topics in the Search
Answers section.
4. Under the All Answers section, click a link for either:
A general category. A list of topics within that category is
displayed, from which you can click a specific topic to view.
A specific topic.
The selected topic is displayed.
