Switch configuration
Common Features in all Modes of Operations
n On / o control to enable and disable the PRM
®
in the presence of input power.
n Using switch S11 or
n Open drain MOSFET using external circuitry or function generator
n Input filtering (inductor and ceramic capacitors)
n Output filtering (inductor and ceramic capacitors)
n Sockets for easy installation of input and output electrolytic capacitor
n Test points for current sensing
n Kelvin test points for measurement of input voltage, output voltage and
all signal pins of the PRM.
n Sockets for each test point for easy installation of through-hole components and
solid wires to facilitate the wiring to external circuitry and test equipment.
Figure 9 provides the illustration for how to configure the switch for each operating mode.
