Non inverting remote on-off cable (ASS030550200)
The Non-inverting remote on-off cable is intended for products that need active pull down to switch
off, such as the Battery Protect load disconnect switch or the Skylla battery charger, when the source
signal switches from active pull up to free floating.
The Load Disconnect of the VE.Bus BMS, for example, is normally high (equal to battery voltage) and
switches from active pull up to free floating (= open circuit) in case of an alarm. The VE.Bus BMS
therefore cannot pull down the on-off terminal of the Battery Protect or the Skylla.
Example 1:
Non inverting remote on-off cable (1)
used to interface between the
Load disconnect output of the
VE.BUS BMS and older Battery Protect
models: BP40i, BP60i or BP200i
Example 2:
Non inverting remote on-off cable (1)
used to interface between the
Charge disconnect output of the
VE.BUS BMS and a Skylla battery charger.
Note: not applicable to the Skylla-i
Specifications:
Maximum input voltage: 70V
Maximum output voltage: 70V
Pull down: when input free floating (input will be pulled low by the remote on-off cable) or when
input voltage less than approximately 2V
Pull down current: approximately 30mA (short circuit proof)
