which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.

14.3.5 Ventilation
The VDC Digital Recorder has ventilation holes in the base, front and rear. Using internal fans, the unit
creates a continuous flow of air through the unit to control the temperature of the disc drives and other
internal components.
The ventilation holes must not be obstructed otherwise the lifetime and reliability of the system may be
affected.
14.3.6 Safety
For warranty and safety reasons, the cover of this equipment must not be removed. There are no user
serviceable parts inside.
