3.1 ATEX-IECEX certicate details
3.1.1 Temperature:
The relation between ambient temperature range, gas group and Ex code is as follows:
Environment temperature Gas group EX marking
-40°C to +60°C IIB

3.1.2 Installation instructions
All cable connectors/glands shall be ATEX/IECEx certied, as appropriate, in type of explosion protection d”
and/or "tb", rated IP66/67, suitable for the conditions of use and correctly installed.
When conduit is used, a suitable ATEX/IECEx certied stopping box shall be used, as appropriate, in type of
explosion protection d” and/or "tb", rated IP66/67, suitable for the conditions of use and correctly installed. The
stopping box must be tted within 25mm (1in) from the enclosure wall.
Unused cable entries are to be closed o using closing devices ATEX/IECEx certied, as appropriate, in type of
explosion protectio n d” and/or "tb", rated IP66/67, suitable for the conditions of use and correctly installed.
For ambient temperatures below –10°C use eld wiring suitable for minimum ambient temperature.
Cable entries and eld wiring must be suitable for an operating temperature of at least +30°C above ambient.
3.1.3 Mounting instructions
The MHX and MHXT series CCTV camera housings can be mounted at any angle between ±90° from horizontal.
