introduces six new cap congurations into its
MegaPress product line.
Viega's MegaPress cap is designed for use with the
MegaPress black iron pipe joining system. The new design
allows installers the ability to easily terminate a piping run
without threading.
The MegaPress cap uses Viega's press end technology,
eliminating the need for threading connections and saving
valuable time.
The MegaPress cap is provided with a factory installed
EPDM sealing element, a 304 stainless steel separator
ring and a 420 stainless steel grip ring approved for use in
hydronic heating, compressed air, re sprinkler and cooling
water applications.
Made of the nest quality carbon steel, the MegaPress cap is
constructed with the patented Smart Connect
®
feature. The
Smart Connect feature is a quick and easy way for installers
to identify connections that need pressing.
Viega MegaPress ttings are designed for use in piping
systems utilizing ASTM A53, A106, A135, and A795 Schedule
5 to Schedule 40 black iron pipe.
