One of the top 100 most sustainable
hotels in the world, Dorado Beach is
a unique Puerto Rican hotel that is
engineered to be sustainable. With 115
guestrooms spread across 50 acres and
one mile of beachfront, the hotel is a
luxurious sanctuary.

in PolyAlloy and around 600
feet of ViegaPEX Ultra tubing
Every other year, the U.S. Department of
Energy holds the Solar Decathlon, which
challenges university teams to “build and
operate solar-powered houses that are
affordable, energy efcient and attractive.”
Viega sponsored the enCORE team, who
positioned a core of plumbing, mechanical
and electrical systems at the center of the
structure and built the house around
the core.
4. Opal Sands Resort
Location: Clearwater Beach, FL

that transitioned into Viega
PEX Press ttings with
ViegaPEX Ultra tubing and
Viega manifolds to feed
the hot and cold lines to
each xture
The crescent-shaped, 15-story resort
features ocean views from the balconies
of each of its 230 rooms. From the warm,
sandy beach to the full-service spa, guests
can expect nothing less than perfection.

sits a rustic, custom-built home equipped
