This will confirm that Viega LLC authorizes the use of ProPress® Fittings for underground
installation for currently approved applications. This letter approves such use by Viega and
warranties the product under Viega’s Limited Warranty, but does not supersede state or local
regulations. Any installation must meet all state and local codes, including those for under slab
installation, and proper authorization and/or permits must be obtained prior to installation.
