6 Viega PEX Crimp Fittings
Viega PEX Crimp ttings are in metallic or polymer
congurations. The following design criteria make
Viega PEX Crimp ttings ideal for use in potable
water applications.

All Viega PEX tubing, ttings and manifolds are NSF
certied for use in potable water systems.
6.1 Viega PEX Crimp Eco Brass fittings
PEX Crimp Eco Brass ttings are manufactured
from a high-grade Zero Lead alloy known for its
superior properties.
6.2 Viega PEX Crimp PolyAlloy fittings
PEX Crimp PolyAlloy ttings are manufactured
from a performance-grade polymer (Acudel
®
and/
or Radel-R
®
) with
excellent chlorine- and corrosion-
resistant properties.
6.3 Viega PEX Crimp fitting markings
Each Viega PEX Crimp tting is marked where space
permits with the following information:

Note: All ttings may not be listed with every organization shown.
Use only ASTM F1807 copper crimp rings
and full-circle crimp tools with Viega PEX
Crimp fittings.
NOT for use with FostaPEX tubing.
Viega PEX Crimp PolyAlloy fittings
must be protected from UV exposure,
which can damage them. In the event of
incidental UV exposure during storage,
installation and handling, combined
exposure of PEX Crimp PolyAlloy fittings
shall not exceed 15 days.
Do not expose Viega products to any
foreign substance that includes but
is not limited to VOC (volatile organic
chemical) compounds, paints, solvents,
glues, cleaners and disinfectants. Viega
products that are exposed to these
types of substances are at risk of having
failures (leaks).
