System characteristics Cause Measures
D1 Compressor
Compressor fault:
Thermal compressor
relay or safety element of
full wave soft starter (if
installed) has respon-
ded.
Separate compressor
motor protection (if
installed) has respon-
ded.
Reset compressor ther-
mal relay, check setting,
restore delivered condi-
tion ("Standard set-
tings", see menu struc-
ture).
Check compressor
electrical connections,
test coil resistance of
compressor motor.
Check compressor
phase sequence.
The switching signal
(from the thermal relay,
full wave soft starter or
a separate motor over-
load protection) can be
tested at connection
215.3 (230 V~).
Note
If overheating occurs,
internal motor protection
prevents a re-enabling of
the compressor for 1-3
hours.
If required, replace full
wave soft starter (if
installed); have com-
pressor checked by a
refrigeration engineer.
D3 Low pressure
Low pressure fault
Heat pump faulty
Primary pump faulty
Low pressure switch
has responded or is
faulty
Have heat pump tested
by a refrigeration engi-
neer.
The signal can be tested
at connection 215.5
(230 V~).
