Vent Length Requirements

Standard long sweep elbows (for CPVC pipes only)

90° long sweep elbow

equivalent to 5 ft. / 1.5m

90° short sweep elbow

equivalent to 8 ft. / 2.4m

(if used)

Note:

If standard sweep elbows are used the allowable vent lengths are reduced.

One standard 90° elbow is equivalent to 8ft. / 2.4m of straight pipe.
