Checking and adjusting the ignition and ionisation electro-
des
A Ignition electrodes B Ionisation electrode
1. Check the electrodes for wear and
contaminatio n.
2. Clean the e lectrodes with a small
brush (not with a wire brush) or
emery paper.

Important information
Wire mesh
do not damage.
3. Check a ll clearances. If the gaps
are not as specified or the electro-
des are damage d, replace and
align the electrod es together with
new gaskets A.Tightentheelec-
trodefixingscrewswith2Nm.
