4. Basic menu
Audio Settings
Mute
Volume
Power On/Off Ring Tone
When turning on or off the projector, it will make a
sound.
Presentation Timer See “Setting the Presentation Timer” for details.
Pattern
The projector can display a test pattern. It helps you
adjust the image size and focus and check that the
projected image is free from distortion.
Blank Timer See “Hiding the image” for details.
Message
Selecting On displays the current information on the
screen when the projector is detecting or searching for
a signal.
Splash Screen
Allows you to select which logo screen will be
displayed during projector start-up.

Light Source Settings See “Light source settings” for details.
Closed Caption
Selects a preferred closed captioning mode when the
selected input signal carries closed captions.
● Captions: An on-screen display of the dialogue,
narration, and sound effects of TV programs and
videos that are closed captioned (usually marked as
“CC” in TV listings).
This function is only available when a Composite video
input signal is selected and its system format is NTSC.
Caption Version
To view captions, select CC1, CC2, CC3, or CC4 (CC1
displays subtitles in the primary language of the region
you are located in).
Reset Settings
Returns all settings to the factory preset values.
The following settings will still remain: Keystone,
Language, Projector Position, High Altitude Mode,
Security Settings, 3D Sync Invert, Network Settings,
Image Settings, Presentation Timer, Quick Auto Search
and Remote control code.
