PREPARATION STEPS TO FOLLOW BEFORE INSTALLATION

1. Remove the plastic layer from the base/tub border (if needed). Do NOT remove the plastic layer

off the plastic platform of the base/tub.

2. Properly apply silicone to the wall and base joints.

IMPORTANT

 To prevent damage to the finish, you should protect the tub bottom with a cardboard protector

before beginning the installation.

 Ensure that there is sufficient structural support behind the shower wall to hold the weight of the

tub door. If there is insufficient support, then reinforce the shower walls with wooden studs prior

to tub door installation. [SEE FIG.1B] (typical for right and left door installation)

INSTALLATION OF THE TUB DOOR BY AN INEXPERIENCED PERSON MAY RESULT IN GLASS BREAKAGE AND, CONSEQUENTLY, CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.  Handle fragile items with care to prevent injury or material damage.  Glass on panels and doors is tempered glass and must never be cut to prevent personal injury.

INSTALLATION STEPS A. 1. INSTALLING THE WATER SIDE SEAL STRIP Clean all glass panel edges receiving seal strips with rubbing alcohol. Cut and install the seal strip (#3) according to the seal strip diagram, making sure that the flange is on the inside of the shower. MAKE SURE THE FLANGE IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE SHOWER 3 NOTE: If the seal strips are not flat, use a hair dryer to apply minimal heat and press the seal strip back into position. 1 A1 3 1 HINGE OUTLINE 3 B. 1.

2. Place gaskets on each side of the door glass panel. Screw the hinges to the door glass panel with the hex key (supplied). 2. Align the door correctly using a level. Mark two (2) holes on the wall for the mounting screws for each hinge.

3. Remove the door and drill holes into the wall where marked. Place plastic anchors (#7) inside the holes.

4. Replace the door and screw securely to the wall with 1 5/8" screws (#6). 7 C4 2 NOTE - You may need to add more than one shim per hinge as glass hole openings vary during production. PVC shims prevent the door from sagging due to gravity and the weight of the door. ! Never install without shims, this can cause the glass to break causing property damage and bodily harm. 6 1 7/16" SHIM (NOT PROVIDED) BATHTUB D. 1. INSTALLING THE HANDLE Unscrew the handle holders from the handle assembly (#5).

E. 1. INSTALLING THE DOOR BOTTOM SEAL STRIP Clean the door glass panel (#1) edges where the door bottom seal strip (#4) is to be installed with rubbing alcohol. The door bottom seal strip (#4) is cut already to the proper size. Verify that the lip of the seal strip faces toward the inside of the shower cabin before seal strip installation. Install the seal strip according to the diagram.
