Appendix B provides information on how to set up a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to compare the fric-
tion loss values when using the Hazen Williams formula and the Darcy-Weisbach formula. This tool
can be helpful in the project estimating phase for large systems that use propylene glycol solution.
This spreadsheet is not intended to be used for hydraulic calculations. It should be used as a refer-
ence only.
