Insert the battery (1). Stow both
connection cables in the battery
compartment properly.
● Close the battery
compartment. (Ö 13.14)
13.16 Charger plug
Before connecting:
● Read and observe the information in
the instructions for the charger.
● Read and observe the instructions in
the battery supplementary sheet.
Connecting:
● Stop the engine. (Ö 11.3)
● Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.11)
● Open the engine hood. (Ö 13.2)
Only connect the VIKING ACB 010 battery
float charger or the VIKING ADL 012
diagnostic charger to the charger plug (1).
13.17 Cleaning the machine
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
These cleaners can damage plastics and
metals, impairing the safe operation of
your VIKING machine.
If you are unable to remove the dirt with
water using a brush or a cloth, VIKING
recommends the use of a special cleaner
(e.g. STIHL special cleaner).
The machine is equipped with a
charger plug.
The VIKING ACB 010 battery float
charger or the VIKING ADL 012
diagnostic charger (both not
included in standard equipment)
can be connected.
Only float charging can be
performed with the VIKING battery
float charger.
With the diagnostic charger, both
float charging and full charging
(charging an empty battery) can be
performed.
Avoid damage to the machine.
Only the VIKING ACB 010 battery
float charger or the VIKING
ADL 012 diagnostic charger must
be connected to the charger plug.
Stop the engine before connecting
the charger as the machine or the
VIKING chargers may be damaged.
Chargers with a higher charging
current can damage the machine.
In order to charge the battery using
another charging system, the
battery must first be removed.
Furthermore, the information
contained in the battery
supplementary sheet must be
carefully observed.
Avoid damage to the machine.
Never spray water (high pressure
cleaner) onto engine components,
seals, electrical components
(battery, wiring harness, etc.) or
bearing points. This may result in
damage and expensive repairs.
Always remove the mowing deck
for cleaning and maintenance
operations.
