The following points must be noted when
transporting:
– Before loading, select the highest
cutting level. (Ö 11.6)
– If a trailer is used, it must be supported
at the front so that it cannot tilt up due to
the weight of the machine.
– Use a suitable lifter or loading ramps for
loading the machine.
– Position the loading ramps safely
(observe wheel base of the machine)
and secure.
– Ensure an even distribution of the load
on trailers.
– After loading, select the lowest cutting
level. (Ö 11.6)
– Stop the engine. (Ö 11.3)
– Push the machine fully forwards.
– Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.11)
– Close the fuel cock. (Ö 13.12)
– Secure the machine at the front using
suitable fastening materials (belts,
ropes etc.). Attach the fastening
materials at the front axle for this
purpose.
– Place additional wooden wedges (not
included in standard equipment) at the
wheels to prevent unintentional rolling.

14. Transport
Risk of injury:
The section "For your safety",
especially subsection "Transporting
the machine" and subsection
"Instructions for safe operation of
the machine", must be carefully
read and observed. (Ö 4.)
When loading the machine onto a
suitable vehicle or a suitable trailer,
it must be ensured that the load is
distributed evenly.
When loading the machine, use
loading ramps which withstand the
weight and are wide enough to be
driven over safely. Select a low
driving speed when driving over the
loading ramps and ensure that the
wheels do not drive over the edges
of the loading ramps, resulting in
the ride-on mower falling to the
ground. Handle the vehicle
carefully and smoothly when driving
on slopes. Do not change speed or
direction abruptly.
On public roads, the machine may
only be transported by means of a
suitable vehicle or trailer. Do not
tow!
15. Standard spare parts
The fastening elements for the
mowing blade (e.g. blade fastening
screw) must be replaced when
replacing the blade, i.e. when
installing the blade. Spare parts are
available from a VIKING specialist
dealer.
