Proposition 65 Warning

WARNING: When cut or ground, cement tiles can expose you to Silica, crystalline

(airborne particles of respirable size) which is known to the State of California to

cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Remediation

When cutting or grinding cement tiles, or other concrete products, please use

proper dust-remediation techniques, including but not limited to:



● Use water to wet dust before it becomes airborne, including during cleanup.

● Use cutting or grinding tools meant to be used with water, such as a “wet

saw”.

● Use high-quality respirators, when in the presence of dry dust, such as N95

respirators, or respirator masks with P95 or P100 filters. Please note: these

masks are only effective when properly fitted and maintained.

● Shower and change into clean clothes as soon as possible after dust

exposure, to reduce contamination transfer.


