Expanding the File System
If you installed Raspbian to the SD card using a disk image, it is
possible that the OS cannot use the full capacity of your SD card.
To fix this:
1. Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight
Expand Filesystem and then press Enter.
2. When the process is complete, press Enter to select
<OK>.
3. Press the Tab key and then the Right Arrow key to
highlight <Finish>. Press Enter, and when you are
prompted to reboot the Pi, select <Yes>.
Changing the Default Boot Sequence
The default setting is for Raspbian to finish loading and place
you at the command line.
From the raspi-config tool, you can instruct Raspbian to load the
graphical environment every time the Raspberry Pi starts up:
1. Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight
Enable Boot to Desktop/Scratch, and then press
Enter.
2. Press the Down Arrow key to highlight Desktop
Log in as user ‘pi’ at the graphical desktop, and
then press Enter.
