After many new disc formats, praised as succes-

sors of the audio CD, due to format disputes of the

manufacturers or lack of consumer acceptance did

not catch on so far, the following is safe to state:

the audio CD will still play an important role for a

very long time and offers enough sound potential

with good recording technology and sophisticated

reproduction technique in the CD player.

We created the CD-S4 to be a compact player for

demanding music enthusiasts. Its configuration

matches needs and wishes of most music friends

and dispenses with features that are seldom nee-

ded. Concentration is on pure, true reproduction

of music. One coaxial digital output socket, the inte-

gration of Vincent’s POWER CONTROL features

and a variable-volume headphones socket make the

player fit neatlessly into your music system. Highest

quality of workmanship and an outstanding price

performance ratio are self-evident.

Optically the unit harmonizes with the other audio

components of the Vincent solidLine. In combinati-

on with the tuner and the amplifier components of

this series a system results, whose sound, quality

of workmanship and elegance nowadays are not

run of the mill.
