Check that the electricity supply to your home is appropriate to the device. The required voltage and frequency
can be read on the back of the device beside the socket for the mains. If the electricity supply is appropriate,
push the inlet connector of the supplied mains cable firmly into socket for the mains on the back of the device
(14). Connect the other end of the mains cable to a mains socket.
CONNECTION OF THE POWER CABLE
CONNECTION OF ONE OR MORE POWER AMPLIFIERS
This preamplifier has two stereo preamplifier outputs with RCA connectors for the main amplifier channels.
In this way it is possible to drive four loudspeakers or bi-amp one pair of loudspeakers (e. g. using two
stereo main amplifiers). The main amplifiers supply the system’s loudspeakers and the loudspeakers are
connected to the outputs of these. Instead of each stereo main amplifier shown here you can alternative-
ly use two mono main amplifiers.
To connect one pair of loudspeakers you will need two main amplifier channels, for example one stereo
main amplifier. Connect both sockets named “1” in the field “OUTPUT” (12) with the RCA input sockets
of the main amplifier channels (often marked as “INPUT” or “POWER AMP IN”). Please pay attention not
to interchange right with left channels. The letters “R” and “L” indicate the correct correlation. You may
further use the SA-T1 preamplifier output marked with “2” for a headphone amplifier.
You can as well use both stereo outputs at the same time, giving way for up to 4 main amplifier channels
to supply their loudspeaker. For that all you need to do is connect all remaining stereo outputs (12) with
additional main amplifier channel inputs.

RCA connection
The fact that this amplifier is equipped with two RCA stereo preamplifier outputs enables you to bi-wire
your loudspeakers using adequate speakers and one or more additional main amplifiers. Your HiFi spe-
cialist will advise you on this.
