10. INPUT: S1 - S4
Here you can connect up to four source devices
with stereo audio line level output.
11. REC OUT: recording output
If desired, you can connect a recording device
like a CD recorder or a tape recorder to this out-
put. The stereo signal of this output is identical to
the output signal of the selected audio source at
one of the preamplifier INPUTs. It is independent
of the volume setting (8)(20), the Tone Control
(4)(6). As long as the preamplifier is muted (9),
the “OUTPUT REC” does not provide the music
signal.
12. DIGITAL IN:
Optical/Coaxial
Connections for audio signals of source devi-
ces with digital sound such as, for example,
DVD players. “Optical” for optical fibre con-
nection and “Coaxial” for connection via coa-
xial cable.
13. PRE OUT: preamplifier outputs
With this pair of RCA connectors you can output
the preamplified stereo audio signal of the cur-
rently selected source to power amplifier channels
or an active subwoofer.
14. POWER CONTROL (12V)
These jack connectors (3.5 mm) send the signals
for the standby control (12V Trigger).
15. Voltage Selector:
The voltage selector behind the pane allows swit-
ching the voltage from 230 V to 110 V.

16. FUSE HOLDER
This small plastic housing contains the device’s
fuse. Note the safety instructions on this.
17. AC 220-240V:
Mains connector
To establish the power supply, connect the plugs
of the power cable to the device and to a suitable
wall outlet.
18. SPEAKER
Output sockets with screw clamps for connection
of one pairs of loudspeakers. You can use loud-
speaker cables with 4 mm banana connectors.
