a. Check that the power cord is
plugged in

and fuses
c. Lower the temperature
setting

Compressor
stopping and
starting but has a
short running
time
a. Incorrect temperature
setting

c. Failed thermistor

a. Adjust the temperature from
55°F to 60°F

placing it in ice water and
measuring resistance
d. Check compressor windings,
start relay and overload
