Your Wine Cellar This unit can be used for storage and/or service. This unit has a glass door and soft interior light that you can use to store your wine. Serving Wines Storing wines at the proper temperature is important. To preserve them as long as possible wine should be stored at approximately 55° Fahrenheit. However, the chart below suggests the optimal drinking temperature for the different styles of wine.
General Operating Instructions Remove all external and internal packaging from your appliance. Be sure that all parts have been included before discarding any packaging materials. You may want to keep the box and packing materials for use at a later date. Upon receipt and inspection of unit, the supply cord must be replaced if it is damaged. INSTALLATION • • • • • • • Remove all packing material before using your appliance. IMPORTANT: Before connecting the unit to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. This unit is designed for freestanding or built in installation and indoor or outdoor use. Position the unit in a dry and well-ventilated place.
NOTE: 1. Weight of the overlay panel should not exceed 20 pounds (9.1 kilograms). 2. It is important to ensure that all drilled holes are drilled to the correct depth in order to avoid splits in the wood when hardware is installed. 3. Drill the handle installation holes in the overlay panel according to the handle you are planning to use. If reusing the handles came with the unit, drill two holes with holes distance 707mm (27-53/64”) and diameter 5mm (3/16”) in the overlay panel. Door Panel Installation 1.

The unit is delivered to you with the door opening from the left side. Should you desire to reverse the opening direction, please follow the reversal instructions shown below. NOTE: All parts removed must be saved to allow the door swing to be reversed. 1. Remove the bottom hinge (2) by unscrewing the four lock screws (1).

(Fig. 4) OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE CONTROLS ON/OFF Power To turn the appliance off, press and hold the key for 5 seconds until temperature display goes out.
• When the unit is plugged in for the first time, the unit will power up automatically to the preset defaults. The preset temperature at the factory for UPPER temperature zone is 10ºC (50ºF) and for LOWER temperature zone is 16ºC (60ºF). • You can press the left side UP and DOWN keys to control the internal temperature of the UPPER temperature zone and press the right side UP and DOWN keys to control the internal temperature of the LOWER temperature zone.
SABBATH MODE Sabbath mode is available for the observance of certain religious holidays. This mode turns off the displays, interior light and audible alarms and prevents them from turning on again. Normal cooling operations will still take place. To initiate Sabbath mode, press the POWER and LIGHT keys at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash four times and confirm the Sabbath mode is ON. Sabbath mode can be exited by repeating the above process.
You can place 5 standard bottles on the 4 full shelves and 4 standard bottles on the 2 bottom racks for VT-18PR28. Approximate wine cooler capacity is 28 bottles You can place 8 standard bottles on the top 5 shelves and 6 standard bottles on the bottom rack for VT-24PR46. Approximate wine cooler capacity is 46 bottles. Note: Bottle capacities are approximate maximums when storing traditional Bordeaux 750 ML bottles and may include bulk storage. Many bottles differ in size and dimensions.
• • Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution. Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth before cleaning control panels or any electrical parts. • Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth. Use an approved stainless steel cleaner to clean the door. Do not use steel wool or a steel brush on the stainless steel.
PROBLEMS WITH YOUR APPLIANCE Most common problems can be solved easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Try the following suggestions to see if you can solve the problem before contacting Vinotemp at info@vinotemp.com. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Appliance does not operate. Appliance is not cold enough. POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY • Appliance is not connected to a power supply. • The appliance is turned off. • Tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. • The temperature is not set correctly.
The door will not close properly. Display “E1”, “E2” or “E7”. The alarm sounds and the temperature display flashes. The icon “--” is lit and flashing in the temperature display. • The appliance is not properly leveled. • The appliance is not properly level. • • The door was reversed and properly installed. • The gasket is dirty. • The shelves are out of position. • not • “E1”or “E2” indicates the air temperature sensor has failed. • “E7” indicates a door switch failure.

If the item remains in the Vinotemp warehouse after 60 days but no longer than 120 days, the Purchaser will incur additional storage fees of 2%.
