Your Wine Cellar This unit can be used for Storage and/or Service. The unit has a glass door and soft interior light that you can use to store your wine. Serving Wines Storing wines at the proper temperature is important. To preserve them as long as possible wine should be stored at approximately 55° Fahrenheit. However, the chart below suggests the optimal drinking temperature for the different styles of wine.
General Operating Instructions Remove all external and internal packaging from your appliance. Be sure that all parts have been included before discarding any packaging materials. You may want to keep the box and packing materials for use at a later date. Upon receipt and inspection of unit, the supply cord must be replaced if it is damaged. INSTALLATION • • • • • • • Remove all packing material before using your appliance. IMPORTANT: Before connecting the unit to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately 24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. This unit is designed for freestanding or built in installation and indoor use only. Position the unit in a dry and well-ventilated place.
1. Remove the cover cap and then remove the glass door by unscrewing the four screws (1) and (4). Be careful to hold the glass door firmly after removing the screws and place it on a padded surface to avoid the risk of damage. 2. Unscrew and transfer the lock catch (3) to the opposite side. 3. Rotate the glass door 180° and refit the glass door to the opposite side. Then screw and tighten it after the door is leveled.
NOTE: 1. Weight of the overlay panel should not exceed 35 pounds (16 kilograms). 2. It is important to ensure that all drilled holes are drilled to the correct depth in order to avoid splits in the wood when hardware is installed. 3. Drill the handle installation holes in the overlay panel according to the handle you are planning to use. If reusing the handles came with the unit, drill two holes with holes distance 490mm (19-19/64”) and diameter 5mm (3/16”) in the overlay panel. Door Panel Installation 1.
OPERATING YOUR APPLIANCE CONTROLS ON/OFF Power To turn the appliance off, press and hold the key for 5 seconds until temperature display goes out. To turn the appliance on, press and hold the key for 1 second until temperature display lights up. NOTE: Pressing the POWER key once can switch off the audible alarm when the alarm is on. LIGHT Turn the interior light ON/OFF. UP Used to increase (warm) the set temperature by 1°C/1ºF. DOWN Used to decrease (cool) the set temperature by 1°C/1ºF.

To initiate Sabbath mode, press the POWER and LIGHT keys at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash four times and confirm the Sabbath mode is ON. Sabbath mode can be canceled by repeating the above process. The Sabbath Mode will automatically turn off after 48 hours. SHELVES To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to have the door all the way open when pulling the shelves out of the rail compartment. • • For easy access to the stored bottles, you can pull the shelf fully out of the rail compartment. To remove a shelf, extend the shelf out of the rail compartment until it stops and remove all bottles from the shelf. Then lift the shelf front straight up and then grasp the slides (2) and push the shelf (1) straight inward to release the shelf from the slides.
POWER FAILURE Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance. If the power is off for an extended period of time, proper steps should be taken to protect your contents. INACTIVITY If the unit will not be used for a period of less than three weeks, leave the unit operating. If the period of inactivity is several months, remove all items and turn the unit off. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
PROBLEMS WITH YOUR APPLIANCE Most common problems can be solved easily, saving you the cost of a possible service call. Appliance turns itself on and off frequently. The light does not work. Vibrations The appliance seems to make too much noise.
• There are popping and cracking noises. • The appliance is not properly leveled. The door will not close properly. Display “E1”, “E2” or “E7”. The alarm sounds and the temperature display flashes. The icon “--” is lit and flashing in the temperature display. • The appliance is not properly level. • The door was reversed and not properly installed. • The gasket is dirty. • The shelves are out of position. • “E1”or “E2” indicates the air temperature sensor has failed.
