* Weather damage caused by hail storms or debris from high winds
* Restore damaged or cracked window frames
Instructions:
1. Clean damaged area and dry thoroughly to assure proper adhesion.
2. For an overlay of the damage, cut PVC material 2” longer than damaged area. Overlap PVC
material 1” on each side of the break.
3. Remove cap and nozzle from the tube of Liquid PVC and discard the red ring.
a. Reattach the cap and nozzle. Tighten firmly to break seal on the aluminum tube.
b. Remove the red cap and gently squeeze tube to make sure the seal is broken and the
Liquid PVC flows freely. Snip the nozzle with a scissor if a larger bead is desired.
6. Apply “Liquid PVC” liberally to both the window frame and the PVC material.
7. Before adhesive skins over, clamp the PVC material to the window frame until weld holds.
Colder temperatures will take longer to set up.
8. Place a bead of “Liquid PVC” around all edges to ensure a weather tight seal.
9. Replace the cap to reseal the tube of Liquid PVC. Once opened, it will have a limited life.
a. On reuse, the nozzle will need to be cleaned with a paper clip or wire.
