two systems independently. When set to Off, the Car Select feature
is not available. When set to On, the Car Select feature is enabled.
See “Car Select” (under Remote and System Operations) for detail on
using a remote with two systems.
Remote Pairing
Please note that your remote controls come already paired from the
factory. However, if you wish to add a new remote control, the fol-
lowing instructions step you through pairing the 1-way remote control
to your system.
Note: Both the remote and the vehicle will need to be prepared to
pair a remote to the system.
Prepare the remote for pairing:
1. Make sure the remote control is set for the desired Car 1 or Car
2 operation.
2. Press and hold the
AUX
button for eight seconds, the transmit LED
will turn on, release the
AUX
button.
3. Within 30 seconds press and hold the
AUX
AUX
button for two sec-
onds, the transmit LED flashes then comes on, release the
AUX
AUX
button.
4. The remote is now ready for pairing.
Prepare the vehicle system for pairing:
1. Open at least one of the vehicle’s doors.
2. Turn the key to the ON position.
3. Within five seconds, press and release the Control Button on the
Control Center one time.
4. Within five seconds, press and hold the Control Button. The sta-
tus LED will begin flashing and the siren will sound one time to
