OPERATION OF CONTROL PANEL – VIRON P280 AND P300 EVO
Viron P280 eVo and P300 eVo Buttons and their functions:
- On/Off Button: For toggling between On and Off state. When the pump is in On state, the On/Off LED is
on. In Off state, the LED is off. The pump will remember On/Off state. When the pump is turned on, it will
auto-prime for 5 minutes at Speed 3 before entering the pre-set speed level.
- Low Speed Button: For switching to pre-set Speed Level 1. The Speed1 LED is on when the pump is in
Speed Level 1.
- Medium Speed Button: For switching to pre-set Speed Level 2. The Speed2 LED is on when the pump is
in Speed Level 2..
- High Speed Button: For switching to pre-set Speed Level 3. The Speed3 LED is on when the pump is in
Speed Level 3.
- Speed memory: Your pump will automatically remember the speed it was last operated at. The next time
it is started, it will revert to the last speed it operated at automatically (after the initial prime period).
- Decrease Button: For decreasing speed of selected speed level (25 RPM per press, or holding for 1.5
seconds to decrease the speed continuously). If the changed speed is not saved in 30 seconds, it will
change back to the original saved speed.
- Enter Button: For saving the speed of selected Speed Level. Holding for 3 seconds to save the speed
and the selected Speed LED will flash 5 times to indicate the saving process is finished.
- Increase Button: For increasing speed of selected speed level (25 RPM per press, or holding for 1.5
seconds to increase the speed continuously). If the changed speed is not saved in 30 seconds, it will
change back to the original speed.
- Lock Button: For locking the buttons on User Panel except for the On/Off button. Holding for 5 seconds to
lock or unlock the buttons. All the Speed LEDs will flash 5 times to indicate the buttons are locked or
unlocked. The pump will remember button lock/unlock state.
- Priming Period: The P280 and P300 will automatically start on High Speed for a period of 5 minutes
when started. This ensures the pump eliminates air in the system and fully primes the pump. For this
reason, it is important not to lower the High Speed to a point where the pump does not prime.
For changing selected Speed Level back to factory default speed: Holding the Lock Button (within 5
seconds) of starting up, press the selected Speed Button to change the speed to factory default. If the changed
speed is not saved in 30 seconds, it will change back to the original saved speed.
