INSTALLATION

NOTE: This product is peer to peer and must be used as a set.

NOTE: A power supply is required at each end.

Connect cables. Notes:

1. CAT5e/6 cables used should be wired to IEEE-568B standard. Unshielded Twisted Pair

(UTP) or Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) are both acceptable.

2. Transmitter can connect directly to receiver without a cross-over cable.

3. The transmitter and receiver automatically find each other on a network when patched

through a network switcher.

MULTIPLE SETS ON LAN

If there are multiple receivers on a network they will all display the output from one transmitter.

To setup discreet transmitter and receiver sets on the same network follow these steps:

Create a Virtual LAN on the network switch

for each

transmitter and receiver set. Example:

• Connect 15 transmitters to ports 1-15

• Connect 15 receivers to ports 16-30

• Create VLAN_1 and assign ports 1 and 16

• Create VLAN_2 and assign ports 2 and 17 etc…

NOTE: you must have a managed switch to achieve this.
