SCANNER CONFIGURATION
The scanner configuration tab shows the hardware information for your scanner.
CALIBRATE
The scanner needs to be calibrated as part of your monthly maintenance of the scanner. If you are seeing image
quality problems and cleaning the scanner does not resolve the problem, you may need to calibrate the scanner.
1. If calibration does not resolve any image quality issues you are seeing, you may need to clean the scanner.
2. Click on the Calibrate button to start the utility. When prompted, insert the calibration page with the black
strip face up.
3. The scanner will grab the page and move it slowly through the scanner while the utility completes the
process.
4. When prompted, remove the page from the scanner.
Warning: do not attempt to calibrate the scanner with any other type of document (i.e. white paper or a copy of
the calibration page).
