About Visioneer OneTouch
®
From its conception, Visioneer OneTouch has changed the way people scan by
reducing multiple steps in the scan process to a single touch of a button – from 14
steps to just 1. Button scanning is a great idea and most scanners and MFP’s now
include a SCAN button intended to save time or steps. Everyone has accepted
that ease-of-use is the goal.
But not all buttons are created equal and sometimes the ease-of-use goal gets lost
along the way. After pressing the SCAN button, some scanner devices require additional
mouse clicks, file naming or destination confirmation, so there are highly varying
results when you click the SCAN button. Many have limited destinations and don’t
extend to server-based applications such as Microsoft SharePoint or custom applications.
This is where Visioneer OneTouch is different.
Visioneer OneTouch requires just one touch to process
the entire scan job. It initiates the scan, and delivers
the complete document to its destination, no additional
clicking, no forced confirmation of destination, no
partial jobs.
