Care and Cleaning RANGE HOOD The range hood should be cleaned regularly (internally and externally) to preserve its appearance and performance. 'R 'R 1RW Always clean in the direction of the grain (original polish lines). Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergents, steel wool, or scouring pads. These will scratch and damage the stainless steel surface. Clean the range hood periodically with hot, soapy water and a clean cotton cloth.
