Post Alarm Duration
This is the time for which the DVR will carry on recording, in it‟s a alarm mode, after an alarm
event has finished. It can be set up to 99 Seconds
Alarm Display Mode
This can be set to:
Full screen Primary alarmed camera will be displayed full screen
Quad The primary camera plus the 3 secondary cameras will be displayed in a Quad view
No change Alarm activations will not be displayed
Alarm Display Freeze: Not yet operational, for use in future firmware revisions.

Pre-Alarm Resolution
This is the resolution that the DVR will record its Pre- Alarm events in; it can be set to CIF, 2
CIF or D1.
Pre-Alarm FPS
This is the number of pictures per second recorded per camera during the Pre Alarm period.
The maximum FPS will vary dependant on the Pre-Alarm Resolution setting.
Pre-Alarm Duration
This is the time for which the DVR will buffer recordings, to use as pre-alarm events, It can
be set to 0, 5, 10, 15 or 20 seconds
Method
CBR Constant Bit Rate (Default setting)
VBR Variable Bit Rate (May increase picture quality but will increase files sizes, so reduce
he time period being recorded onto the internal HDDs.
