Installation Sheet

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box.
2. Unscrew the side screws (G) from the fixture.
3. Remove the mounting plate (A) from the backplate (C) by removing the screws (D).
4. Affix mounting plate (A) to the outlet box and secure with mounting screws (B) provided.
5. Connect the hot wire (BLACK) from the fixture to the hot wire from the outlet box
(usually BLACK). Fasten them together with a plastic wire connector (I) provided
and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
6. Connect the neutral wire (WHITE) from the fixture to the wire from the outlet box
(usually WHITE).
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OR SAFETY WILL
BE COMPROMISED.
7. Connect ground wire from the fixture (bare copper) to ground wire from the outlet box
(usually green or copper in color).
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS FIXTURE BE GROUNDED.
8. Attach backplate (C) to the mounting plate (A) and tighten with screws (D).
9. Insert bulb (not included) into the socket.
10. Place the glass shade (E) into the fixture cage (F), and secure with the metal tabs (H).
11. Install the assembled fixture cage (F) onto the backplate (C) and secure with the side
screws (G).
12. Installation is complete, turn on power at fuse or circuit breaker.
***Clean with a dry, soft cloth only. Do not use harsh abrasives or chemical agents.

DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT. DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
